High school roundup: Northwestern softball earns 16th win

The Northwestern Trojans remained unbeaten on the year with a 6-0 softball win over the York Cougars in a Region 3-AAAA game at Northwestern.

Kori Wancheck picked up her 16th win of the year with a complete game. She scattered three hits and struck out eight.

Tiana Lewter led a parade of four Northwestern hitters with two hits each. Lewter drove in four of the Trojans six runs in the game.

Lewisville 7, Great Falls 0: The Lions (17-5, 8-0) collected 10 hits and defeated the Red Devils in a Region 3-A contest in Great Falls.

Holden Reynolds had a three-run home run and Denver Moseley a two-run blast to lead the Lions at the plate.

Evan Sisk pitched a complete game to pick up the win. He scattered five hits and struck out 13 as he improved to 7-1.

Jeremy Price led Great Falls (3-10, 2-6) with three hits in three trips to the plate.
