— A Lancaster man has been arrested in connection with a string of recent pharmacy burglaries.

Gregory Faile, 32, was arrested Friday after a joint investigation by the Lancaster Police Department and Lancaster Sheriff's Office, according to a press release from the sheriff's office.

Faile is accused of breaking into Family Pharmacy, 1755 Airport Road, at 2 a.m. Friday. Officials also believe he is involved in Friday and Sunday burglaries at Lancaster Pharmacy on Woodland Drive.

Faile was identified as a suspect and then arrested at about 10 a.m. during a traffic stop. Investigators found evidence from a burglary and recovered "a large amount of prescription medication," Sheriff Barry Faile said in the release.

"We are thankful that we were able to recover these stolen drugs before they had a chance to harm someone," Faile said.

Faile faces multiple charges, including burglary and drug possession.

"This joint investigation between agencies is a direct indication that law enforcement entities in Lancaster County are working together for the common good of the citizens," Lancaster Police Chief Howard said in a prepared statement. "The officers that brought this investigation to a successful conclusion are appreciated and congratulated for a job well done."
