3 ticketed, 1 arrested after Winthrop frat party

— An off-campus fraternity party resulted in one arrest and three underage drinking citations over the weekend, according to a Winthrop University police report.

Three students, two of whom were 19 and one of whom was 20, were ticketed for underage drinking.

An 18-year-old man from Columbia was arrested for public disorderly conduct and possession of alcohol.

The tickets were issued and the arrest was made after a party at the Kappa Sigma fraternity house on Ebenezer Avenue, according to the report.
