Saturday at the S.C. Strawberry Festival in Fort Mill

Here’s a schedule of today’s events for the South Carolina Strawberry Festival. Most events will take place at Walter Y. Elisha Park in Fort Mill:

8-11 a.m.: Strawberry Pancake Breakfast, Nation Ford High School; all-you-can-eat strawberry pancakes for $6, to benefit Nation Ford High School Booster Club.

9 a.m.-10 p.m.: The Strawberry Jam (free outdoor concerts); food and drink vendors; arts and crafts vendors; “Kids Zone” rides and activities; meet and greet with Berry B. Good and the 2014 Strawberry Queens; pig races on the hour.

10 a.m.-4 p.m.: Car show, on North White Street, adjacent to the park.

Noon, 3 p.m., 5 p.m. & 8 p.m.: “Wrestling for a Reason,” to benefit American Cancer Society.

1 p.m.: Strawberry ice cream eating contests

2 p.m.: Strawberry shortcake eating contests

3 p.m.: Celebrity strawberry shortcake eating contest

4 p.m.: World’s Hottest Wing eating contest

9:45 p.m.: Fireworks
