— Two 12-year-old students were arrested on charges related to fighting on a school bus, according to a York Police report.

Police responded to the intersection of S.C. 321 and S.C. 49 in York on Monday afternoon after two female students were pulled off the bus. The two allegedly had been arguing over a comment about one girl’s boyfriend.

According to the report, a third female student got hit by both girls but did not appear to be involved in the argument.

The two suspects were arrested and charged with assault and battery and interfering with the operation of a school bus.
