Edgar Prado back riding at Gulfstream Park

Hallandale Beach, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Hall of Fame jockey Edgar Prado will return to the races Saturday at Gulfstream Park.

The veteran jockey had been sidelined after suffering a fractured vertebrae four weeks ago at Keeneland during training hours. Prado suffered the injury when the horse he was riding hit the jockey in the face with its head.

"I feel much better," Prado said. "I did my rehabilitation and been riding the past three days. Absolutely, I'm looking forward to riding Saturday."

Prado, who entered the Hall of Fame in 2008, was slated to be aboard Vinceremos in the Blue Grass Stakes at Keeneland on April 12.
