Shots fired into Chester grandmother’s house

— Shots were fired inside a Chester County woman’s house Tuesday evening, leaving a bullet hole in her front door, deputies said.

Deputies were sent to a Johnson Street home, off S.C. 97, where the woman, 54, told them she was inside her house at about 7:15 p.m. when she heard several gunshots, according to a Chester County Sheriff’s report. The woman went outside, but did not see anyone around. She did notice a bullet in her front door.

The woman said she, her 10-year-old grandson and two others were inside the house when shots went off, the report states. Deputies were unable to find any suspects.

No injuries were reported.
