Baltimore, MD ( - Two down. One to go?

Kentucky Derby winner California Chrome captured the second leg of horse racing's Triple Crown in Saturday's Preakness Stakes.

Ridden by Victor Espinoza, California Chrome held off Ride On Curlin down the stretch and will be the 13th horse to enter the Belmont Stakes with a chance to win the Triple Crown since Affirmed last did it in 1978.

Saturday's victory was the 3-year-old colt's sixth in a row. He entered the race as the 1-5 favorite in the 10-horse field after pulling away to win the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs two weeks ago.
