— No injuries were reported in a three-car crash outside the Walmart in Indian Land Monday afternoon, authorities say.

Troopers with the Highway Patrol say William Cory Newell, 24, of Fort Mill, was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Malibu east on U.S.. 521, about 20 miles north of Lancaster outside of Walmart, when he failed to yield to the right of way and hit 37-year-old Daniel Burns, of Matthews, N.C., as he traveled north in a 2012 Hyundai Sonata.

The impact sent Burns' car crashing into George Loor, 20, of Pineville, N.C., who parked his 1999 two-door Honda in a nearby private driveway, said Highway Patrol Lance Cpl. Gary Miller.

A 17-year-old minor was in the car with Loor, but was uninjured, Miller said.

All three drivers were wearing seat belts, he said, and none suffered from serious injuries.
