— The York County Sheriff's Office has identified the suspect in connection with an armed robbery Monday at a Rock Hill liquor store.

After receiving tips from the public, detectives on Wednesday issued three warrants for Christopher "Chris" Eldridge Smith, 34, charging him with armed robbery with a deadly weapon and two counts of kidnapping. Smith also has weapons violations from New York and is on probation for armed robbery with a deadly weapon from New York, according to a press release from the sheriff's office.

Officials believe Smith robbed the Liquor Express located at 580 North Anderson Road in Rock Hill at approximately 2:40 p.m. Monday. The suspect in that case pretended to be a customer before presenting an unknown object, possibly a knife, to the cashier and demanding money.

The suspect stole about $130 from the cash register and several bottles of alcohol.
