A man wanted by the York County Sheriff's Office in connection with an armed robbery at a Rock Hill liquor store has been arrested in Pennsylvania.

Christopher "Chris" Eldridge Smith, 34, was arrested on Sunday near Harrisburg by the Lower Paxton Township Police Department, according to the York County Sheriff's Office.

Warrants were issued for Smith on Wednesday after tips from the public led detectives to identify Smith in an incident at the Liquor Express at 580 North Anderson Road on the afternoon of June 30. Smith will be charged with armed robbery with a deadly weapon and two counts of kidnapping.

Smith also has weapons violations from New York and is on probation for armed robbery with a deadly weapon in New York.

In the incident, the suspect pretended to be a customer before presenting an unknown object, possibly a knife, to the cashier and demanding money. The suspect stole about $130 from the cash register and several bottles of alcohol.

No other details about Smith's arrest in Pennsylvania are available.
