GAFFNEY -- Quarterback DeEdward Burris was Clover's worst nightmare in Friday night's 35-28 loss in Region 3-AAAA play. The elusive signal-caller ran for 99 yards and threw for 244 more. The Blue Eagles defense kept the QB from making big plays, but Burris was a killer anyway.
CLOVER -- Northwestern dictated the pace for three quarters Tuesday night. Clover got the game running at a speed more to its liking in the final stanza.
