Great Falls 40, Indian Land 22

GREAT FALLS -- The Great Falls Red Devils were one step quicker all night in a 40-22 victory over Region 3-A foe Indian Land.

It started with the opening kickoff, as senior Terrell Hutchinson caught Indian Land napping and beat the Warriors to the pooch kick to recover the live ball at the Warriors' 29. Four carries later by four different ballcarriers, Great Falls led 6-0 with only 1 minute, 50 seconds off the clock.

That started a trend that would not end, as there were many different contributors to the Red Devils' win on Senior Night. Hutchinson had an acrobatic 29-yard TD catch later in the quarter and an interception in the second quarter.

Indian Land turned the ball over three times in five plays in the second quarter. Hutchinson's INT was followed by another pick from senior Travis Reid, who had another interception in the end zone in the third quarter after running down kick returner Troy Wongsang at the 5-yard line on the previous play.

Senior Zach Barber had 76 yards rushing and an interception, and senior Isaiah Lynn had 96 rushing yards and a TD run.

Indian Land scored twice in the last two minutes on a 9-yard run from Breyon Williams and a 65-yard pass play from Josh Camarire to Jarrell Robinson. Robinson had two interceptions and Williams had a TD catch in the first quarter.

Wongsang had an interception for the Warriors.

The game was sloppy as the teams combined for 235 penalty yards.
