WILLISTON -- The Great Falls Red Devils fought hard on the road, but couldn't get on the board. The Blue Devils, on the other hand, broke free in the fourth quarter, ending Great Falls' season in the first round of the Class A Division II playoffs.

The Blue Devils, perfect on the year and ranked No. 2 in the state behind Chesterfield, was able to limit Great Falls to a little over a 100 yards of total offense. Two touchdown passes from Williston-Elko quarterback Gator Garrick were more than enough, but a 1-yard TD run by Dexter Staley stamped the exclamation point on the win.

Williston-Elko advances to the second round of the playoffs, where the Blue Devils will host Hunter-Kinard-Tyler. The Red Devils finish the season with a 3-8 record.
