Roman Army Festival
Feel “right at Rome” at the Roman Army Festival presented by Discovery Place in connection with the museum’s current exhibition, A Day in Pompeii. The event is noon to 6 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Fourth Ward Park, one block from Discovery Place, at Sixth and Poplar streets, Charlotte. The festival will cast a scene of Roman soldier and gladiator reenactors recreating the Imperial Roman Era marketplace, camping grounds and battlefield. Admission is free.
