Fort Mill Bond Referendum

FORT MILL -- The gyms at Nation Ford and Fort Mill high schools are crowded all day, every day.

FORT MILL -- Springfield Middle School is "beginning to feel the pinch," and Fort Mill Middle is experiencing "the calm before the storm," say principals at those two schools.

FORT MILL -- Some schoolchildren here must take four school buses a day because some of the district's elementary schools are beyond capacity.

According to Ellie Abraham, a fifth-grader who's attended Springfield Elementary since kindergarten, "People are squished."
