Darnell Rogers wanted to prove he belonged among NCAA Division I’s highest-level high school basketball recruits this summer. He did so in the eyes of many, but at just 5 feet, 2 inches tall, Rogers will never be finished proving doubters wrong.

The sheriff's office recently received bulletproof vests for deputies. Dunn, who has been a police officer for six years, was not injured during the recent incident. The suspect was arrested.
