Have we got a hot road trip rock show or what, with The Tubes, headlining Raleigh Downtown Live this Saturday? And we do mean a “trip.”

After a decade of planning and anticipation, the live music phase of the N.C. Music Factory is off and running. Tonight, a concert by country/folk rocker Corey Smith with guest Shane Hines will christen the Charlotte Fillmore, the second live music venue to open in the uptown Charlotte complex.
