ROCK HILL -- Mr. Frank "Wendell" Baxter, 65, of 902 Saluda St., died Thursday, July 12, 2007, at Piedmont Medical Center.
The funeral service will be 3 p.m. Sunday, July 15 2007 at First Calvary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dr. L.L. Hancock officiating. The Rev. James Steele will deliver the eulogy. Burial will take place 11 a.m. Monday at Grandview Memorial Park.
A native of Rock Hill, he was the son of the late McKindley and Johnnie Mae McClure Baxter.
Surviving are his wife, Doris Durham Baxter of the home; two sons, Ricky Baxter of the home and Tyronne Baxter of York; one daughter, Frankie B. Jordan of Rock Hill; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, El-Doris Barnette of Rock Hill; three brothers, Charles E. Baxter, Thomas E. Baxter and Rev. McKindley N. (Buck) Baxter, all of Rock Hill.

Mr. Baxter may be viewed from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Robinson Funeral Home and from 2 p.m. to the time of the service Sunday at the church. The family will receive friends at the home.
