ROCK HILL -- Mrs. Thelma Baker Phillips, 91, of 1915 Ebenezer Road, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2007 at White Oak Manor.
A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at Laurelwood Cemetery with the Rev. Jermey Herring officiating.
Mrs. Phillips was born in Pineville, N.C. and was the daughter of the late George T. and Lucy Viola Adams Baker. She was a member of Roddey Baptist Church and retired from Smith Enterprise. Mrs. Phillips was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Banks Phillips Sr., her son, Thomas Neal Phillips and her daughter, Helen Myra Phillips.
Mrs. Phillips is survived by her sons, Ray Banks Phillips Jr and his wife, Marion and Noah Wayne Phillips and his wife, Opal; her daughter, Aileen P. Tinker and her husband, Aaron C. Jr.; her brothers, Frank E. Baker of Rock Hill and Ray "Sonny" Baker of Greer; her sisters, Margaret Rainey of Columbia, Betty Starnes and Joyce Henson of Rock Hill and Beatrice Greene of Chester; 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 tonight at Greene Funeral Home Downtown Chapel and at other times at the home of Aileen and Aaron Tinker, 555 Fencepost Lane, Rock Hill.
