CHESTER -- Rev. John Robert Cullom, 83, of Knoxville, Tenn., died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2007.
The funeral will be 6:30 p.m. Monday at Clinton Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in Knoxville, with Bishop Lewis Hunter officiating. Burial will be Tuesday at Veteran Cemetery in Knoxville. The family will receive friends from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday at Clinton Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church.
Surviving are his wife, Dora Foster Cullom, of the home; three sons, John (Kim) Cullom Jr. of KNoxville, Nathan (Shirley) Cullom of Chattanooga, Tenn. and David (Lynette) Cullom of Raleigh, N.C.; four daughters, Sylvia (Rev. Carl A.) Glenn of Chester; Jacqueline (James) Cullom-Price of San Antonion, Texas, Camilla (Rev. Darryl) Starnes of Charlotte, N.C. and Mary (Virgil) Simpson of Knoxville; one sister, Emma Sue Borders of Phoenix; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
