CLOVER -- Mr. Michael Lee Remer, 53, of 6267 Four Knights Lane, passed away Monday, Oct. 8, 2007, at his home.
A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, 2007, at Corinthian Lodge 416 AFM in Newport, with the Rev. Barry Yates officiating. Burial will be private.
Born in Detroit, Mich., Mike was a son of the late Arthur and Donna Ashcraft Remer. He was a retired machinist and avid motorcycle fan who was a past director of the Rock Hill Hog Chapter. A 32 Degree Mason, he was an active Brother in Corinthian Lodge 416 AFM, where he was serving as Junior Deacon and had been acting as a Degree and Ritual coach for the last four years. He was a member of the Scottish Rite and York Rite Bodies, where he was serving as Principle Conductor of the Absolum Cody Council 8.
Mike is survived by his wife, Brenda Motley Remer, of the home and two sons, Scott Alan Remer, of York, SC and Joshua John Remer, of the home. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Dwayne Alan Remer and Terry Scott Remer.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at the Lodge prior to the service from 5 until 7 p.m., with Masonic rites conducted by Corinthian Lodge #416 AFM and brother Masons from throughout the 22nd Masonic District at 6:30 p.m.
