CHARLOTTE -- Mrs. Flora "Lee Lee" Gore Moore, 50, of 3539 Sargeant Drive, Charlotte, N.C., formerly of York, S.C., died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007, in York, S.C. She was the daughter of the late John Robert Gore and Gladys M. Gore. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Minnie G. Adams and Bonnie G. Mackins.
Mrs. Moore was formerly self employed as a licensed cosmetologist. She was a member of White Hill AME Zion Church in York and also attended Steele Creek Church in Charlotte, N.C.
Mrs. Moore leaves to cherish fond memories, a loving and devoted husband, William E. Moore; her mother, Gladys Gore of York, S.C.; four sisters, Roberta G. Mayes (Donald) of Irving, Texas, Debra G. Love of Rock Hill, S.C.; Cheryl Gore and Elaine G. Love (Otis) of York, S.C.; five brothers, William "Bubba" Gore (Jean), Robert "Roe" Gore (Peggy), Gordon "Bojap" Gore (Shirley) and Roy E. Gore, all of York, S.C., and Terry L. Gore of Turbeville, S.C.; two special aunts, Martha Thomasson of York, S.C., and Johnny Stansbury (Harold) of Newark, N.J.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007, at White Hill AME Zion Church in York, S.C.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Community Care, P.O. Box 993, Rock Hill, SC 29731; the Cancer Society; or White Hill AME Zion Church in York.
The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the memorial service and other times at her mother's residence, 206 Hunter St., York, S.C.
