ROCK HILL -- Mr. Harley Willis Geddings, 76, of 401 Lake Club Drive, passed away Monday, Oct. 22, 2007, at Magnolia Manor in Rock Hill.
A native of Sumter, S.C., he was born March 27, 1931, a son of the late Marvin A. and Annie Avins Geddings. Mr. Geddings was a retired district manager for various insurance businesses, was a retired Chief Master Sergeant with the U.S. Air Force after 24 years of service and was a member of Oakland Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Azile Nunnery Geddings; daughter, Cynde Emory of Lake Wylie, S.C.; son, Greg Geddings of Pensacola, Fla.; brothers, Bob Geddings of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Dale Geddings of Long Beach, S.C.; sisters, Betty Stokes of Charleston, S.C., and Lucile Price of Columbia, S.C.; three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert Shrum officiating. Interment will follow in Rock Hill Memorial Gardens with full Military Honors by the U.S. Air Force.
