HICKORY GROVE -- Aquilla Glenn Comer, 64, of 2996 Sawmill Road, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007, at her home.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m., Sunday, Dec.2, 2007, at Woodlawn Presbyterian Church, with the Revs. Bruce Cleasby and John Williams officiating. Burial will be at Woodlawn Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Comer was a daughter of the late Harry Glenn and Myrtle Carroll Glenn. She was a member of Sharon United Methodist Church and was a homemaker. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, David Brown Comer of Hickory Grove; her son, Melvin David Comer and fiancée, Laura Fields of Hickory Grove; two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen Comer Lee and John Lee of Hickory Grove and Scherie Comer Henderson Joe Henderson of York; her brother, Frank Glenn of York; three sisters, Ellen G. Jones of Sharon, Janet G. Blackwell and Melba G. Jones, both of York. Mrs. Comer is also survived by six grandchildren, Tyler Henderson, David Henderson, Carson Lee, Grayson Lee, Dylan Fields and Avery Fields.
