GREAT FALLS -- Ruby Neal McKeown of 201 Fortress Drive, White Rock, S.C., formerly of Great Falls, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2007.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Heath Chapel United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Jason Everson and the Rev. Gerald Starnes officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. McKeown was born April 3, 1916, in Union, S.C., a daughter of the late Morris Alexander Neal and Lona Robbins Neal. She was a graduate of Great Falls High School and served in the bomb plant in Oak Ridge, Tenn., during WWII. She was formerly employed with J.P. Stevens Company and was co-owner of M&M Truck Stop in Great Falls. A member of Heath Chapel, Mrs. McKeown served as church co-organist for 30 years. She was the widow of Lee Max McKeown.
Surviving are two sons, Larry J. McKeown and wife, Carol of Columbia, S.C., and Terry M. McKeown of Patty of Great Falls; one daughter, Sylvia D. Blackwell of Great Falls; one brother, Charles Neal of Great Falls; one stepson, Lee "Jack" McKeown of Great Falls; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 tonight at Heath Chapel UMC and other times at the home of Jack McKeown, 6609 Richburg Road, Great Falls.
