ROCK HILL -- Mrs. Evelyn Brown George, 93, of 2545 John Brown Road, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007, at her home.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints Catawba Ward. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. George was born on Feb. 7, 1914 and was the daughter of the late Early Morgan Brown and Edith Bertha Harris Brown. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Catawba Ward. She retired from Kenneth Home Fashions.
She is survived by four sons, Howard L. George, M. Phillip George, R. Wayne George of Rock Hill and John E. George of Jacksonville, Fla.; three daughters, H. Faye George Greiner, JoAnn George Bauer and Susan M. George all of Rock Hill; one sister, Lizzie Jane Burns of Rock Hill; 40 grandchildren; 79 great grandchildren; and 30 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Charles L. George and Kenneth N. George and one daughter, Nancy E. George.
