ROCK HILL -- Earl Nathaniel Barnes, 84, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2007, at Park Ridge Hospital in Fletcher, N.C.
Born in York County, he was the son of the late Lee Roy and Clara Martin Barnes. Mr. Barnes was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII and a U.S. Army veteran of Korea, retired from Rock Hill Printing & Finishing Company and was a charter member of Covenant Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Marjorie Camp Barnes; daughter, Ann Mullinax and husband, Mark of Travelers Rest, S.C.; sister, Maude Carroll and her granddaughter, Pamela Harding, both of York, S.C.; two sisters-in-law, Margaret Barnes and Catherine Cabaness, both of Rock Hill, S.C.; brother-in-law, Bill "Whitey" Armour of Rock Hill; three grandchildren, Erik Crockett and wife, Mallory of Greer, S.C., Chris Crockett and wife, Ginger of Greer, S.C., and Nathan Mullinax of Travelers Rest, S.C.; great-granddaughter, Tayler Crockett; and numerous nieces and nephews..
He was predeceased by two sisters, Elizabeth Usher and Clara Armour and four brothers, Ralph, Neil, George and Robert Barnes.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Rock Hill, with burial to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Rock Hill.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. Saturday at Covenant Presbyterian. The family will be at their respective homes.
