ROCK HILL -- Mr. David Anthony May, 21, of Rock Hill passed away Friday, Dec. 14, 2007 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C. as the result of an motorcycle accident.
Funeral services for Mr. May will be 2 p.m. , Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2007 at Oakdale Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Devinney officiating with burial to follow at Forest Hills Cemetery.
Mr. May was born in Rock Hill, SC and was the son of Anthony D. May and Patricia Dove May both of Rock Hill. He was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church and worked as a Group Counselor at Piedmont Medical Center. David graduated from Northwestern High School and The College of Charleston with a BS Degree in Psychology. David loved playing his guitars and riding his motorcycle. Quite often you would find David with his head under the hood of a car or in a book. David had a passion for people and hoped to return to school to earn a degree in nursing. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Helen May and Barbara Bishop Dove.
In addition to his parents, David is survived by his sister, Sera Ashley May of Rock Hill; his grandfather, Neil P. Dove of Rock Hill; and his great-grandmother, Harriette Bishop of Chester.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 17, 2007 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill.
