CLOVER -- Hughlen LaFayette McMahan, 90, formerly of Woodland Drive, Clover, S.C., died Dec. 19, 2007 at Willowbrooke Court, Rock Hill, S.C.
A graveside service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007, at Lakeview Memory Gardens. A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Clover First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Michael Walker officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the memorial service.
Mr. McMahan was born Feb. 26, 1917, in Tallapossa, Ga., to the late Robert Lother and Ethel Tumlin McMahan. He was a WWII Navy veteran and was retired from Westinghouse Turbine Plant in Charlotte, N.C. Mr. McMahan was the widower of Ruth Porter McMahan.
Survivors are his daughter, Lisa M. Hamer of Monks Corner, S.C.; son and daughter-in-law, Richard L. and Gloria McMahan of Chapin, S.C.; grandchildren, Devin McMahan, Deirdre McMahan, Anna Marie Hamer and Haley Ruth Hamer.
