ROCK HILL -- Master Maeson James Hinson, 4, went to be with the Lord on Friday, Dec. 21, 2007.
The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2007, at Oakdale Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Devinney and Pastor Ricky D. Cope officiating. Entombment will be at Grandview Memorial Park on Cherry Road.
A native of Rock Hill, Mae Mae was a son of Michael E. Sanders Sr and Tasha Hughes Hinson. He attended Oakland Day School and was a Christian who loved God. He was a jokester who loved people and was loved by many. He loved to sing and ride with his dad on the lawn mower. Spiderman was his nickname as well as his hero. Mae Mae touched many lives and taught us how to love. He will be missed.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his stepmother, Deborah Sanders of Rock Hill; his stepfather, Tony Hinson of Fort Lawn; two brothers, Hunter Hinson of Rock Hill and Michael Sanders Jr of Fort Mill; two sisters, Jornee Lowery and LaShawn Sanders, both of Rock Hill; his paternal grandmother, Sarah Nalley of Rock Hill; his maternal grandparents, Kay Zissett and Eddie Hughes of Rock Hill; his maternal great-grandmother, Suddie Owens of Rock Hill; his great-grandparents, Bill and Libby Craig; two aunts, Shirley Sanders and Melissa McCrimmons; and his uncle, Jamie Hughes. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Lester Sanders Jr.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 23, at Trinity Baptist Church, 125 E. Elliott St., Fort Mill and also from 12:30 to 1:45pm on Wednesday, Dec. 26, at Oakdale Baptist Church (prior to the service).
