GREAT FALLS -- Mr. Carlton J. "Collie" Day, 80, of 125 Magnolia Avenue, died Monday, Dec. 24, 2007, at his home.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. Curtis Cameron and the Rev. Marion Dry officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Day was born in Great Falls, a son of the late Edgar Lee and Cora Ramsey Day. He was a graduate of Great Falls High School and a charger member of Trinity Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of W.W. II. He was a retired weave room supervisor from J.P. Stevens Textile Co., and later was employed with Springs Industries.
Survivors include one daughter, Lydia D. Greer and husband, Roger of Great Falls; one granddaughter, Jessica G. McKeown and husband Max of Great Falls; one brother, Lewis A. Day of Laconia, N.H.; three sisters, Barbara Cauthen of Heath Springs, Helen Bruening of Hanahan and Tracy Dry of Great Falls.
