ROCK HILL -- Mr. Quentavious L. Hemphill, of 1036 Winchester Drive, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2007, in Chester County.
The funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Flint Hill Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dwayne Brown officiating, the Rev. A.T. Murdock delivering the eulogy and the Rev. Maurice Watts, the Rev. Helena Jones and Elder Frederick Page Sr. assisting. Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Park-Hollis Lakes.
He was born on April 3, 1988 in Rock Hill and was a member of Christ Deliverance Church. He was a 2006 graduate of Rock Hill High School, and was currently serving in the United States Navy in Norfolk, Va.
Surviving are his parents, Kevin and Patrice Nichols of Rock Hill; one sister, Akira Hemphill of Rock Hill; two brothers, Kevin Nichols Jr. and Devin Nichols, both of Rock Hill; his cousin, Shaun Chisholm of Fargo, N.D.; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Mack Nichols of Rock Hill and Ms. Maggie Adams of Rock Hill; and a half sister, Aderrica Roseboro of York.

Quentavious will be on view tonight from 6 to 7 at Robinson Funeral Home and from 11 a.m. until time of the service Wednesday at the church. The family will receive friends at the home.
