GREAT FALLS -- Daisy Louise Goings Wilson, 78, and wife of Leonard "Pokey" Wilson, died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008, in Hoffman Estates, Ill.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Greenlawn Cemetery, Great Falls, S.C.
Mrs. Wilson was born in Great Falls June 22, 1929, a daughter of the late Julian and Adell Jacobs Goings. She was a graduate of Great Falls High School and was a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church. She was formerly employed with J.P. Stevens Company. After relocating to Illinois, she was employed as a parts inspector with Amphanol Corporation.
Surviving are her husband, Leonard "Pokey" Wilson; three daughters, Teresa Geib of Hoffman Estates, Ill., Carol Boeck of Streamwood, Ill., and Debbie Watson of Bolingbrook, Ill.; three granddaughters; and one great-granddaughter; two brothers, Julian Goings Jr. of Great Falls and Robert Goings of Leesville, S.C.; three sisters, Gladys Wallace of Gastonia, N.C., Mary Dennis of Cross, S.C., and Florence Surber of Cicero, Ill.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. today at Dantzler-Baker Funeral Home, 26 Underwood Ave., Great Falls and other times at the home of Cindy Lewis, 5215 Golf Course Road, Great Falls.
