SHARON -- Linda Kay Neely Kerr, 62, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, died at home peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008. Linda lead a very full and active life. She and her husband, Jack, were married for 43 years. She served her previous community as an EMT for Carolina VFD. She was formerly a member at Harrison UMC and currently at Sharon Baptist Church in Sharon, S.C., where she served on the hospitality committee. Linda touched so many lives through her time with us and will continue to do so through her memory.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008, at Sharon Baptist Church. The family will receive friends after the service at the church. The Rev. Tony Lineberger and the Rev. Mark Dellinger will be officiating.
Linda is survived by her mother, Christine Neely of Fort Mill; husband, Jack Kerr; two daughters, Mandy Lewis and Kathy Bridges; son, Jason Kerr; and grandchildren, Samantha Laney, Jessica Lewis, Courtney Bridges and Jake Bridges, all of Sharon. She is also survived by two sisters, Diane Marlow of Fort Mill and Elaine Turner of Virginia. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Furman Neely.
