FORT MILL -- Mrs. Willie Mae Hudspeth Ramsey Campbell, 77, of Fort Mill, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2008, at Piedmont Medical Center.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 28, 2008, at Wolfe Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Ray Vogan officiating. Burial will be private.
Born in Kannapolis, N.C., Mrs. Campbell was a daughter of the late John Berry Hudspeth and Bertha Barker Hudspeth. She was retired from Springs Industries after more than 40 years of service and was a member of its 25-Year Club. Mrs. Campbell was a member of the Lesslie Church of God and was an excellent caregiver for her family and many friends.
Surviving are her husband, the Rev. Hugh Campbell; four sons, Larry Ramsey and wife, Faye, Terry Ramsey and wife, Kathy, Brian Ramsey and wife, Lori, and Jim Campbell, all of Rock Hill; her daughter, Sherry Ramsey Payne of Fort Mill; her brother, Max Hudspeth of Tacoma, Wash.; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Francis Ford Ramsey.
