ROCK HILL -- Mr. William Crisp Wilson Sr., 64, of 1919 Sharonwood Lane, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008, at Piedmont Medical Center.
A native of Clinton, S.C., Mr. Wilson was a son of the late Lowry M. Wilson and Violet Crisp Wilson of Clinton. He was a member of First Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church in Rock Hill where he served as an Elder. Mr. Wilson received a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from Clemson University and earned two masters degrees from Winthrop University, and MAT in math as well as an MBA. He was a member of AICHE (American Institute for Chemical Engineers) and was a member of the U.S. Power Squadron in which he was a past commander. He was a retiree of Hoescht-Celanese where he worked as a chemical engineer.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 9, 2008, at First ARP Church, with Dr. Barry Dagenhart officiating and Dr. R. J. Robinson assisting. A 10 a.m. burial will precede the service at Grandview Memorial Park, S.Cherry Road.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Brenda T. Wilson of the home; his son and daughter-in-law, William C. Jr. and Angie, of Easly, S.C.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Rise and Charles Strickland of Rock Hill and Tamara and Darryl McLeod of Greenwood, S.C.; two brothers, L. M. Wilson Jr. of Easly and Roy Wilson of Clinton; two sisters, Martha Mitchell of Bainbridge, Ga. and Brenda Jamison of Charlotte, N.C.; and two grandsons, Masters David and Michael McLeod.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m., Friday, Feb. 8, 2008, at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732 and other times at the home.
