COLUMBIA -- Service for Clara Underwood Shaw, 74, will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Temple Baptist Church with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Neil Freeman, Dana Ritchie, Chris Kopel, Ray Rast, Bradley Shaw, David Truluck and Jeff Rhodes. Members of the Hope Sunday School Class of Temple Baptist Church will serve as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be today 6 to 8 p.m. at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel.
Mrs. Shaw, wife of the late Jack L. Shaw, died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008. Born in Rock Hill, she was a daughter of the late F.F. and Lillian Wylie Underwood. She was a graduate of Winthrop Training School. After a long career in banking, she retired as secretary-treasurer of Arnolds Professional Garment Care.
A very active person, Mrs. Shaw enjoyed going to movies, reading, doing puzzles and attending sporting events. An avid fan of USC football and baseball, she was active in the Dugout Club and a full scholarship donor with the Gamecock Club for over 40 years.

Mrs. Shaw was a member of Temple Baptist Church, where she was active in "Women to Women" and the Hope Sunday School Class.
Surviving are son and daughter-in-law, David F. and Jeanie Shaw of Columbia; daughter, Janet S. Kopel of Columbia; grandchildren, Jennifer L. Rast and her husband, Raymond, Sarah A. Shaw, Bradley A. Shaw and Christopher R. Kopel, all of Columbia; Amanda R. Shaw of Bradenton, Fla.; stepgranddaughter, Sabrina L. Jacobs and her husband, Mark of Goldsboro, N.C.; great-grandchildren, Zakaray J. Rast, Jessica L. Kopel, C. Jordan Leneve, Tyler C. Kopel, Hailey A. Jackson and Gabrielle L. Jackson; and sister, Sarah Underwood Rhodes of Rock Hill.
