CLOVER -- James Monroe Harris, 83, of 3009 South Kingsburry Road, Clover, S.C., died Feb. 24, 2008, at home.
The funeral will be 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, at Bethel Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. John Gess officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008, from 6 to 8 p.m. at M. L. Ford & Sons Funeral Home.
Mr. Harris was born April 10, 1924 in Tirzah, S.C., to the late Claude Joseph and Hester Pressley Harris. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeannie Suzanne Harris. Mr. Harris was a Navy veteran of WWII and retired from Gill Manufacturing in Charlotte, N.C.

Survivors are his wife, Susie Robinson Harris of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Judy Darlene and Carl Oldridge of Enid, Okla.; sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas Kim and Lorain Harris of Manchester, Md., and James Edward and Maria Harris of Stella, N.C.; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy H. and Jim Antonson of Big Fork, Minn.; brother and sister-in-law, W.B. and Mary Alice Harris; grandchildren, Jacci Harris Maier, Gregory Thomas Harris, Tammy Diane Harris, Micah Edward Harris, Sarah Wallace Harvard, Bram Scott Reeves, Jarom Sean Reaves, Devon Saire Reeves and Bridgette Oldridge; and 12 great-grandchildren.
