CHESTER -- Mrs. Juanita Hambrick Lewis, 85, died April 11, 2008, at Chester Regional Nursing Center.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday at the First Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. James Sanders and the Rev. Ralph Martin officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Lewis was a native of Chester, S.C., and the daughter of the late Luther Alvin and Anna James Smith Hambrick. She attended the schools of Chester County and was a graduate of Beaver Creek Bible Institute. She was retired from Fairfield Manufacturing Company in Winnsboro, S.C. She was a member of First Free Will Baptist Church for 44 years, where she taught Sunday School and was a member of the Ladies Auxilary. She was the widow of James Lewis.
She is survived by three sons, Ervin and Billy A. Lewis, both of Chester and Joe Lewis of Dallas, N.C; two daughters, Faye Sullivan of Chester and Peggy Gaius of Stockbridge, Ga.; 21 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great- grandchildren; one brother, Alvin Hambrick of Swansboro, N.C.; two sisters, Mildred Ledbetter of Rock Hill, S.C., and Joann Haney of Bessemer City, N.C.; and one daughter-in-law, Jeanette W. Lewis of Chester. She was preceded in death by six children, Luther, Dick, Johnny, Sally, Thomas and Martha Jane Lewis; and three sisters, Polly Lewis, Elise Osborne and Betty Johnson.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 today at Barron Funeral Home, 133 Wylie Street and other times at 627 Hambrick Drive, Chester.
