FORT MILL -- Mrs. Jennie Giles Crenshaw, 98, of Fort Mill, died Sunday, April 20, 2008, at Rock Hill Health Care Center.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at Unity Cemetery, with Mrs. Debbie Dyches officiating.
Born in Fort Mill, Mrs. Crenshaw was a daughter of the late Benjamin Samuel Giles and Bessie Arrilla Giles. She was retired from Springs Industries, where she was a member of the 25-Year Club. Mrs. Crenshaw was a charter member of the Fort Mill Church of God. She was the widow of Sanford Smith Crenshaw.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Crenshaw Duckett and her husband, George, of Charlotte and Arline Crenshaw Catoe of Fort Mill; her sister, Emy Giles Crump, of Greensboro, N.C.; three granddaughters, Teri Bradshaw of Charlotte, Elaine Catoe Sellers of Fort Mill and Patricia Dianne Catoe of Charlotte; four great-grandchildren, Rachel Bradshaw, David Bradshaw Jr, Allison Sellers and Ronald Sellers; and several stepchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Raymond Bryon Crenshaw and Wade Hampton Crenshaw II; and a daughter, Carolyn Patricia Crenshaw.
