BLACKSBURG -- Maxie Anne Rose, 66, of 364 Dickson Road, died Friday, May 30, 2008, at her home in Blacksburg.
The funeral will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, June 1, 2008, at Clover First Freewill Baptist Church, with the Rev. Marvin Carson officiating. Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens.
A resident of Blacksburg, Maxie Anne Rose was a daughter of the late William and Mildred Phillips Radford. She was a member of Clover First Freewill Baptist Church. She worked in textile as equipment operator at Pharr Yharr.
She was a widow of James C. Rose.

She is survived by three daughters, Tammy McClain of York, Tina Lambert of Blacksburg, Tabitha Cameron of Blacksburg; three sons, Dale Rose of York, Clarence Rose of Blacksburg, Leslie Rose of York; two brothers, Gene Radford of Calif., William Radford of Silvia, N.C.; two sisters, Evelyn Stillwell of Gastonia, N.C. and Betty Peterson of Silvia, N.C.; fourteen grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, May 31, at Bratton Funeral Home.
