FORT MILL -- Mr. Thomas Edward Pecuil, 68, died Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at his home.
A memorial mass will be held privately.
Born in Niagara Falls, N.Y., Mr. Pecuil was the son of the late Edward and Mary Rogala Pecuil. He received his bachelor's degree from Alfred University in New York and his master's degree from Georgia Tech in Atlanta. Mr. Pecuil served in the U.S. Army Corp. of Engineers, during the Vietnam Era. He was a research engineer. Mr. Pecuil was a member of St. Philip Catholic Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and especially spending time with his grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Terry Moats Pecuil; his son, Larry Pecuil and his wife, Crista, of Charlotte; his daughter, Sharry Russell and her husband, Rees, of Charlotte; his sister, Nancy Pecuil of Niagara Falls, N.Y.; and four grandchildren, Dylan Rubley, Chesney Pecuil, Joshua Pecuil and Wesley Russell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Philip Neri Catholic Church Building Fund, 292 Munn Road, Fort Mill, SC 29715.
