ROCK HILL -- Ms. Pearl Yurysta Zevchik, 88, formerly of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2008, at Westminster Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services will be graveside at Holy Spirit Byzantine Cemetery in Cleveland, Ohio, with Father Michael Hayduk officiating.
A native of Butler County, Pa., Ms. Zevchik was a daughter of the late Harry and Rosia Kirch Yurysta. She was the widow of Charles Zevchik. Ms. Zevchik was a member of St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church and was the retired owner and operator of Chuck's Bar in Cleveland. She was a former member of The Kiwanis Club of Ohio and The American Legion Auxiliary. In addition to her parents and husband, Ms. Zevchik was preceded in death by two daughters, Marcia Moro and Cheryl Ashby; her brother Mike Yurysta and her sister, Mary Zukka.
Surviving are her grandson, John Winston Hussey III and his wife, Kim of Charlotte, N.C.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church, 4600 State Road, Cleveland, OH 44109.
