CHESTER -- Mr. Johnny Mack Holley, 63, of 538 Pinkney Road, died unexpectedly on Sunday, September 28, 2008.
He was the husband of Gilda Faulkenberry Holley of 505 Pinkney Road in Chester and the son of the late Walter R. and Robena Catledge Holley. He was of the Christian faith and a member of the Sandy River Masonic Lodge #207 and the Chester Shrine Club.
He is survived by his son, (Jay) Johnny M. Holley Jr. of Chester; daughter, Ruth Ann H. Byars of Chester; stepdaughter, Martha Marenelli of Owens Mill, Md.; brother, Jim Holley of Chester; sisters, Linda Stephenson of Catawba and Judy Phillips of Chester; and grandchildren, Jayda Holley, Kyle Knox, Malinda and James Byars, and Bradley Pearson.
Visitation will be 5 to 6:30 p.m. today at the Wright-Pollard Funeral Home, 115 York Street in Chester, S.C. Graveside services, conducted by the Rev. Ronnie Greene, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 30, 2008, at Evergreen Cemetery.
