CLOVER -- Rosanna Canupp Black, 91, died Friday, October 10, 2008, at Gaston Memorial Hospital in Gastonia, N.C.
The funeral service will be 3 p.m. today at Kings Mountain Chapel United Methodist Church, with the Revs. Anne Parrott and Dr. James Ivey officiating.
Mrs. Black was born in Chester County, S.C., on December 22, 1916, to the late Daniel E. and Maude Hill Canupp. She was the widow of Samuel Fewell Black. Mrs. Black was a member of Kings Mountain Chapel United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her children, Samuel D. Black, Maude B. Crawford, Mary B. Robinson and Margaret Black, all of Clover, S.C., Butler C. Black of Dallas, N.C., Lilly B. Meek of Simpsonville, S.C., and Rosanna B. Hope and Robert L. Black of York; 21 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
