GREAT FALLS -- Mr. Richard Terry Livingston, 63, of 16615 U.S. Highway 21, died Saturday, October 25, 2008, at Springs Memorial Hospital in Lancaster.
The funeral service will be 3 p.m. Monday, October 27, 2008, at Mount Zion Baptist Church, with the Revs. Brent Nichols and Matthew James officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Zion Cemetery.
Born August 31, 1945, in Newberry, S.C., Mr. Livingston was a son of the late Arthur Jerome and Ruby Cook Livingston. He was a graduate of Mid Carolina High School and was a mechanic. He served in the U.S. Army National Guard during the Vietnam era. Mr. Livingston was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church, where he served as deacon and usher, on the church van committee, and was active in AWANA from its inception.
Surviving are his wife, Jackie Best Livingston; son, Sam Catoe of Columbia, S.C.; daughters, Helen Livingston of Columbia, Beth Brown of St. Peters, Mo., and Renee Adkins of Rock Hill; four grandchildren; brother, Arthur J. Livingston Jr. of Prosperity, S.C.; sisters, Edna Shealy of Little Mountain, S.C., Carolina Butler of Newberry, Nancy Shealy of Prosperity, Betty Ruff of Pomaria, S.C., and Judy Hook of Lexington, S.C.
