ROCK HILL -- Mr. Tim Harris, 52, of 524 Aiken Ave., died on Oct. 29, 2008.
Tim, born Feb. 3, 1956, was a native of Rock Hill, S.C., and was the son of the late William Rayford Harris and Anne Snipes Harris of Rock Hill. He attended the College of Charleston, where he studied Biology and Chemistry. Tim and his wife, Karen, married in 1977 and have three daughters, Beth Logan, Hanah and Margaret.
Tim was an Environmental Scientist at Catawba Nuclear Station, where he worked for the past 30 years. He is also a Certified Hazardous Material Manager, a member of the local Queen City CHMM chapter and an active member of the Elks Lodge. Tim and his family have been very active in horseback riding for many years. The extent of Tim's riding was more from the truck as he shuttled the girls around from the house to the barn and to horse shows and rodeos. Tim enjoyed coaching basketball at First ARP Church for many years and also enjoyed taking his family to Panthers games. Tim had become an avid golfer over the last few years and participated in several company golf tournaments.
Tim is survived by his wife, Karen Mussleman Harris of Rock Hill; three daughters, Beth Logan Harris Roach and husband, Jason, Hanah Miley Harris Rhoad and husband, Evan and Margaret Anne Harris; two grandchildren, Miley Anne Rhoad, age 1 and Harris Monroe Roach, who was born on Oct. 29, 2008; and his brother, Mike Harris of Naples Fla.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today, Nov. 1, 2008, at Harris home. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2 at the First ARP Church in Downtown Rock Hill.
