Springs Memorial Hospital names new CEO
LANCASTER -- Springs Memorial Hospital has appointed Tom McDougal as chief executive officer, the hospital announced this week. He will begin his new position Jan. 3.
McDougal brings more than 14 years of health-care management experience to Springs Memorial Hospital. He served as CEO at Parkway Medical Center in Decatur, Ala., for the past five years.
He graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of science degree in business administration from Samford University and received master's degrees in health administration and business administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

McDougal and his wife, Wendy, have two children.
