Residents making weekend plans shouldn't expect conditions similar to Wednesday night's brief tornado warning and heavy wind and rain, according to the National Weather Service.
The Rock Hill area got almost an inch-and-a-half of rain on Wednesday night and this morning. Chester, York and Lancaster counties reported trees down and brief power outages because of the storm.
Forecasters predict partly cloudy and clear skies this weekend and say the weather will cool down from the recent unseasonably high temperatures to the mid-50s over the next couple of days.
Temperatures will reach the low-40s Thursday night and start to warm up toward Saturday before falling again on Sunday.
